chapter 1 – power of the written word

“Each is given a bag of tools,
A shapeless mass,
A book of rules;
And each must make-
Ere life is flown-
A stumbling block
Or a stepping stone.”
– R. L. Sharpes –
This week I received a professional letter praising the firm’s staff as a valued asset, master in their work, excellent work ethic, the highest integrity of service, and, we value [them] very much; the very best for you.
The sentence before that informed me that I, as a client, am a disappointment asking for their patience as I process.
This week’s lesson we learn “the within creates the without“
REMEMBER in your climb to discovery, others’ words are their reflection from within, not yours. The fact remains, “Hurt people say hurtful things”.
As for me, I prayed for this child who carries the belief put on them hearing mommy’s disappointment. I prayed the “within” is free of those words, that they receive grace in its place. Because now that this hurt it is outside of them for the final pass, no one ever again, by their hand, has reflected on them, “I’m disappointed [in] you”.
Fact is, we are FIRST God’s child. And in His eyes, you were always Fabulous!
