all baggage “secure”?

“The fire in the cockpit delayed boarding our plane back to the U.S. from Kaufbeuren Germany.

It was a U.S.A.F. C-130 we needed to return home to retire in Tucson’s Boneyard. The fuel leak was no excuse either. We just touched down to refuel on every gusty raining island between takeoff and landing. Whatever it takes!

The real bother was it is freezing cold at altitude and the most comfortable place to curl up is, in fact, on top of all our baggage stacked high and secure up to the roof’s only heat duct.”

On the other hand, excess baggage you carry from your past with its limiting thoughts and beliefs, those will never go up in value.

Emotional or physical, baggage is baggage. They are one and the same.

Let it go.

WHEN YOU ARE READY to show up with a fresh understanding of your core values, here is the link to a simple 10-minute guided meditation from one of my treasured mentors of many years! So powerful!

Your youthful heart is rooting for you!

what’s your binky?

“Grandma” tells me she discovered her little guy carrying around her bottle of YL Thieves essential oil blend.

Come naptime, he curled up with a tight grip still on grandma’s Thieves oil.

Because the blend includes the hot oils of cinnamon and clove, the first opportunity she cautiously took the bottle from his tiny grip.

Only to discover…. her grandson woke to take the bottle back himself!

Too cute! He knew the vibration his body craved! And what a blessing she knew to trust his expression.

What essential oils draw you in? Could be a clue!

how vibration changes your brain

The reason we talk so much here about the VIBRATION your thoughts and words resonate is because….

“Life and death is in the tongue”
–the Holy Bible–

You agree THAT’s power!

Your brain is one of the most important organs in your body to keep “fueled”. It is approximately 85 percent water [that] gives the brain the electrical energy for all brain functions, including thought and memory processes.

This is your brain.
This is your brain on words.
(shoutout to 1987 commercial “This is your brain on drugs” )

where we put our thoughts is what we give power

So you say to the Fire,…

“Bring me heat and I’ll bring you wood”.

Umm,…. nooooo!

Do you have your “cause” and “effect” backward?

We’ve got to give thanks to get more to be thankful for!

A super healthy discipline is a 15-minute sit each day for a couple weeks (at least!). Even better, a sit when you wake in the morning and again before sleep at night.

In those moments, think ONLY of all you are grateful for.

And when creepy thoughts “creep” in (as they will), forgive yourself. That’s why you are here forming new habits!! Recalibrate!!

That simple.

if you THINK you are unhappy

Story ———

“Once upon a time, there was a nonconforming sparrow who decided not to fly south for the winter.

However, soon the weather turned so cold that he reluctantly started to fly south.

In a short time, ice began to form on his wings and he fell to earth in a barnyard, almost frozen.

A cow passed by and [pooed] on the little sparrow.

The sparrow thought it was the end.

But, the manure warmed him and defrosted his wings.

Warm and happy, able to breathe, he started to sing.

Just then, a large cat came by and, hearing the chirping, investigated the sounds.

The cat cleared away the manure, found the chirping bird and promptly ate him.”

THE MORAL OF THE STORY:

  1. Everyone who [craps] on you is not necessarily your enemy.
  2. Everyone who gets you out of the [crap] is not necessarily your friend.
  3. And, if you’re warm and happy in a pile of [crap], keep your mouth shut.

understand commitment thru personality types

STORY….

Boy meets girl.

Boy falls in-love and ready for marriage! Tonight he pops the question!

Type 1/Blue/Sapphire/motivated by Fun:
He says, “I love you. Let’s elope!”
She says, “Yes!”

Type 2/Yellow/Pearl/motivated by Comfort:
He says, “Will you marry me? This ring was my grandmother’s. I hope you love it as much as I love you.”
She says, “Yes!”

Type 3/Red/Ruby/motivated by Success:
He says, “Marry me! Checkout this 2-carat diamond; the best, just like you!  We’ll have the biggest wedding ever! ”
She says, “Yes!”

Just like our first three dinner conversations, our next and final gal is all giddy over the candlelit dinner, carafe of wine, the aroma of flash flamed cherries jubilee she’s sharing with the guy of her dreams. Her whole family anticipates tonight and she is ready to burst!!

Type 4/Green/Emerald/motivated by Information:
He says, “I’ve been thinking a lot about marriage. I went to the jewelry store to surprise you and picked out this great brochure that tells you everything!… how diamonds are mined, where to find the best stones, here it talks all about chocolate diamonds and why they’re more expensive. Even shows all the shapes and color options over here on page 8.  That should give you something to think about over the weekend.”
She says, …. …. ….

Well, actually, she says nothing. All we know is her dessert fork goes flying and she is left in the bathroom alone, and crying.

THE END  (at least for one of them!)
